Change Made partners with PhotoED Magazine & Think Tank Photo to Spotlight the work of Lens-Based Mentorship Programs.

Building on prior collaborations, this partnership deepens our commitment to amplifying visual storytelling in Canada through solutions reporting.

Toronto, ON  — Change Made is proud to announce a new partnership with PhotoED Magazine and Think Tank Photo, furthering our collective mission to highlight lens-based mentorship initiatives and transforming local communities through visual storytelling.

This collaboration marks a new chapter in our relationship, which began with the Scarborough Made project to spotlight the journey and work of young storytellers in Scarborough.

At the heart of this partnership with PhotoED is a deepened focus on uplifting the work of grassroots organizations and image-makers who use photography as a tool for change.

As a collaborator of this partnership, Think Tank Photo provides the featured artists with select gear to support their creative journey, which we highlight on our social media channels.

Our first article of the 2025 season is featured in PhotoED’s Meld issue. It dives into the launch of Change Made by revisiting our first public art installation at Scarborough Museum last year. The article features the stories of two of our youth creators, whose stories have profiled local changemakers in Scarborough.

The Change Made x PhotoED partnership is part of our social impact directive, which provides a space to bring awareness to local storytellers who are making a difference in the arts.

We do this by exploring and sharing different perspectives and insights into how lens-based mentorship programs foster long-term impact in Canada’s creative economy.
